We had a lovely refreshing short break – in our caravan, restful, with plenty of time for reading – we are now back on line 🙂
Bob the Dog enjoyed walks along the river, swims at the beach and coffee and cake at the cafe. He is such a well behaved dog.
This is Bob The Dog participating in Mannequin challenge – he is able to maintain this pose for hours! 🙂 🙂 🙂
Here is sneak peak of a book I have just finished reading – reviewed this week . Bob the Dog has great taste is books, he enjoyed this one too.
(And Bob the Dog is a star on Simon & Schuster Australia’s Face Book page! )

And check out this remarkable duo
On the road home we stopped for lunch at Pt Denison (near Dongara), it is a favourite place to take a break , have lunch and give Bob the Dog a walk, when in this region .
We had a BBQ lunch (the facilities here are beautiful); the foreshore is lush and there are gas BBQ’s and tables provided. And what a view!
Bob the Dog says this caravanning life is just so exhausting 🙂
He likes being on holiday. Horrocks Beach Caravan Park is fantastic – we can see the ocean from our caravan lounge room and it is a very short stroll to the beach.
Today it was 30 degrees at 4pm – feels like summer 🙂
Lovely to have our Perth based daughter visiting with us this week. Yesterday she took Bob the Dog (and her mum and dad) to The Beer Farm in Metricup (a ten minute drive from our place). What lovely surrounds – among the farms and vineyards; Margaret River Region is now becoming known for great locally produced beers as well as wines.
The best part of the outing, aside from my cider, was the relaxed atmosphere and the fact that Bob the Dog (a very well behaved dog) was welcome to join us.
